Early Access/SARhive is under active development — interactive previews use sample data.

Field App — Coming Soon

One operational picture, wherever the search goes.

The SARhive Field App will keep coordinators and volunteers aligned in low-connectivity environments. Download assigned areas before deployment, navigate search sectors, receive tasks and safety alerts, share location only while checked in, record field observations, and synchronize updates when coverage returns.

Planned capabilities

Coming Soon
  1. 01

    Offline operational maps

Download the relevant search area before entering the field. Routes, tasks, markers, and safety information remain accessible when connectivity is weak.

  2. 02

    Shared operational picture

See assigned zones, completed coverage, verified sightings, hazards, command posts, and approved operational updates in one map.

  3. 03

    Consent-based location sharing

Volunteers control location sharing. Position data is shared only during an active, checked-in assignment and only with authorized operational roles.

  4. 04

    Search routes and coverage

Record the route searched, identify coverage gaps, and synchronize completed areas with the command team.

  5. 05

    Field tasking

Receive assignments, instructions, checklists, updates, and completion requirements directly in the field.

  6. 06

    Safety alerts

Receive relevant authority alerts, weather warnings, hazards, restricted zones, and coordinator-approved areas to avoid.

  7. 07

    Field reporting

Submit sightings, photographs, videos, notes, coordinates, timestamps, and observations directly from the search area.

  8. 08

    Proof of completion

Record GPS location, time, route, checklist, media, and coordinator approval for volunteer or paid field assignments.

  9. 09

    Low-bandwidth communication

Prioritize essential operational messages when connectivity is limited.

  10. 10

    Automatic synchronization

Field activity is securely synchronized when connectivity returns.

Designed for the ground, not the office.

The interface concept above illustrates the planned field experience. It is a design mockup with sample data, not a released application.

  • Operational map
  • Assigned search sector
  • Volunteer location
  • Team members
  • Route already covered
  • Verified sighting
  • Hazard or avoidance zone
  • Current task
  • Check-in status
  • Offline status

Volunteer location is private by default. SARhive does not publicly display volunteer positions and does not track volunteers outside an active checked-in assignment.

Be part of the first field test.

Coordinators, volunteer groups and SAR organizations can register interest now. We will contact you when field testing opens in your region.

In a life-threatening emergency, contact local emergency services first. SARhive does not replace emergency authorities.
